Hear for the Holidays Giveaway 2023: Nominate a Loved One Today!

by | Dec 4, 2023 | Hear For The Holidays, Patient Resources

The holiday season is a time for joy, celebration, and togetherness. Yet, for some, it’s also a time of challenge, particularly for those experiencing a hearing loss.

This year, the Auditory and Vestibular Institute of New England (AVI New England) is excited to announce the launch of our Hear for the Holidays giveaway for 2023, a heartwarming initiative designed to bring the gift of hearing to someone special in our community.

Understanding the Impact of Hearing Loss

Recent statistics suggest that 1 in 8 people are affected by hearing loss. This means that it’s highly likely someone at your holiday gathering may struggle to fully participate in the festivities, feeling isolated when they should feel most connected.

Missing out on conversations, jokes, and the warmth of family stories can be disheartening. Hearing loss isn’t just about missing sounds; it’s about missing out on connections.

What We Are Doing

At AVI New England, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. This is why we’ve launched the Hear for the Holidays giveaway. We are offering a deserving individual a complimentary pair of premium prescription hearing aids along with premium hearing care.

This is more than just a giveaway; it’s a step toward reengaging someone with the world around them, ensuring they don’t miss out on the joys of this festive season.

Why We Are Doing It

Our commitment to the community goes beyond our clinic’s doors. It’s woven into the very fabric of our identity. We understand that hearing health is crucial for maintaining connections, feeling included, and living a fulfilling life.

By giving the gift of hearing, we’re not just changing one person’s life; we’re positively impacting their family, friends, and the broader community.

How to Nominate

Do you know someone who deserves the gift of hearing this holiday season? Maybe it’s a family member who has always put others before themselves or a community member whose selflessness knows no bounds. It could even be someone who has been hesitant to seek treatment due to financial constraints. Now is your chance to give them something truly life changing.

To nominate, visit our Hear for the Holidays nomination page and complete the form. When nominating, it’s essential to detail why this person deserves to win. Share their story, their impact on others, and how this gift could transform their holiday season. The more detail, the better – we want to hear about the nominee’s unique story and why they stand out.

Nominations open on December 1, 2023 and close on December 31, 2023. This tight window means there’s no time to delay. After the closing date, we will select and announce the winner, who will then be invited for a comprehensive hearing assessment and fitting for their new hearing aids.

A Gift That Resonates beyond the Holidays

The Hear for the Holidays giveaway isn’t just about providing a pair of hearing aids; it’s about restoring the joy of sound, the pleasure of conversation, and the warmth of being part of every moment. It’s about showing that in our community, no one has to face the challenges of hearing loss alone.

We invite you to participate in this heartwarming initiative. Nominate someone you know, and let’s make this holiday season one filled with laughter, music, and heartwarming conversations for everyone.

Good luck and happy holidays from all of us at AVI New England!

Dr. Natan Bauman

For more than 40 years, I have had the honor and opportunity of helping thousands of local, national, and international people to achieve a better life through better hearing. As an audiologist and electronic engineer, I have changed the course of the hearing aid industry by inventing the Receiver-In-The-Canal, the most widely used hearing aid in the world. Additionally, I established a tinnitus and sound over-sensitivity clinic and developed a special treatment program which I have been teaching to other practitioners nationally and internationally. Our practice follows the key principles that have defined my career: an adherence to best practices, use of the latest technologies, and personalized care in which the patient is treated as family.
