AVI Appointment Policy
HOME / AVI APPOINTMENT POLICY
Our mission at AVI New England is to provide high-quality hearing healthcare to all of our patients in a punctual manner. We understand that sometimes things happen, and you can’t make your appointment with us.
No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not just our team members, but our other patients who need us, too.
Please be aware of our policy regarding missed and canceled appointments:
#1 : Appointment Cancellations
Booking an appointment with us means holding a space on our booking calendar that other patients can no longer fill. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please call us as soon as you know that you can no longer make your appointment.
If you need to cancel your appointment, we require 24 hours’ notice before your appointment for hearing assessments; tinnitus and sound sensitivity appointments require 48 hours’ notice.
Appointments are in high demand—by canceling your appointment with us sooner rather than later, you can free up that slot for another patient to come and see us.
#2 : How to Cancel Your Appointment
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at (475) 227-0842 during office hours, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
If needed, please feel free to leave us a voicemail with your name, phone number, and why you need to cancel your appointment. We’ll make sure to return your call as soon as we can!
#3 : Late Cancellations/No-Shows
If your appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before your appointed time, it’s considered late. A no-show is when a patient misses their appointment without contacting us to cancel.
For both late cancellations and no-shows, we charge the patient at $50 missed appointment fee.
