Like so many communities in our area, farming was the focus of Wilton, CT in the beginning. Though our community’s focus has changed as we roll deeper into the 21st century, the wide-open spaces upon which the colonial homes of Wilton are built continue to be a lasting feature.
Global corporations like ASML, Deloitte, Breitling SA, Cannondale Bicycle Corporation, Melissa & Doug, and AIG Financial Products have their headquarters in our community, but we also take time to celebrate our unique culture with festivities like Jazz in the Garden, Wilton Rocks for Food, and Wilton’s Street Fair and Sidewalk Sale annually, as well as our Wilton’s Farmers Market every Wednesday from June through October.
A number of the homes and buildings in our area are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as the Wilton Center Historic District, the Cannondale Historic District, and the Georgetown Historic District to remind us of our roots. Interacting with friends and neighbors is made possible through various organized recreational activities, the Norwalk River Valley Trail and Merwin Meadows picnic area, which features a pond, playground, and athletic field.
Interaction with family, friends, and neighbors is an important part of living a rewarding lifestyle, but hearing challenges can limit these benefits. Thankfully, Dr. Bauman, a major contributor in the field of audiology worldwide and co-founder of AVI New England, makes it easy for individuals in Wilton and nearby communities to take advantage of the personalized and local solutions that address hearing loss, tinnitus, sound sensitivity issues, balance disorders, and other hearing care services we offer at our Norwalk, CT clinic.

How Can We Help?

Hearing Assessments
When Was Your Last Hearing Test?
Most people regularly have their eyes, teeth and bloodwork tested but rarely do they include checking their hearing.
It is reported that hearing loss is the third most common physical health condition, impacting globally 1 in 8 individuals. The World Health Organization predicts that hearing loss will almost double in the next 30 years; this makes a regular hearing assessment critically important.
The biggest challenge is that hearing loss often occurs slowly and gradually, making it almost impossible to notice on a day-to-day change.
Typically, our loved ones are first to notice that we are experiencing a hearing challenge before we do.
Having a regular hearing assessment allows for early detection of hearing loss ensuring the right preventive measures are taken so that your hearing health is optimally cared for.
If you are concerned about your hearing or a loved one’s hearing, we highly encouraged you to schedule a hearing assessment with our expert hearing doctors. It is quick, non-invasive, and you’ll receive the results immediately.
